The 5th ArteKino Festival, which lasts until December, 31 throughout Europe, is online! Watch acclaimed European films for free!
The 5th edition of the ArteKino Festival will be held online across Europe, from December 1 to December 31, 2020.
While the festival is on, you will be able to watch 10 European feature and documentary films in 10 European languages: French, German, English, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Hungarian and Dutch, presented at international film festivals held among others in Berlin, Venice, Rotterdam, Toronto and Locarno.
The films will be available for free in 45 European countries on the site: www.artekinofestival.com
It is the viewers who will decide which of the films by young European directors will win the ArteKino Audience Award.
The ArteKino Festival promotes European films and makes available to the general public especially those ones whose distribution in European cinemas could be endangered, despite their presence in festival programmes and success in competitions of important festivals. In this completely free and interactive event, film lovers will play a key role as they will be able to vote for the best film to win the ArteKino Audience Award.
The ArteKino Festival is a unique festival that was created by ARTE and the European Film Festival Scope. The organizers are trying to establish cooperation with film institutes, independent cinemas, media and all other organizations that are involved in promoting national films in Europe.
The ArteKino festival was founded on the initiative of ARTE France Cinema, ARTE GEIE and the European Film Festival Scope and is co-financed by EU funds as part of the Creative Europe MEDIA programme.
