"THE WAY TO THE VIEWER: Challenges and tasks of the producer while producing films for cinema, television and the Internet." The Film Art Organization Department invites you to a course on Feb 1-2.
People around the world want to watch films. Their distribution in cinemas, on the Internet or on television creates a huge market on a local and global scale. Let's take a look at how Polish artists who achieve spectacular successes are doing on it. We want to ask them some very important questions. How do they program their repertoire? How do they get funds for film projects? How do they choose the cast? What makes them win the hearts of viewers and critics' recognition? How do they win European Film Awards and fight for Oscars?
On February 1-2, we invite you to a "hot weekend" during the winter course:
A DAY OR EVEN TWO DAYS IN THE LIFE OF A FILM-MAKER
Challenges and tasks of a producer while making films for cinema, television and the Internet
Over two intensive days filled with lectures, workshops and meetings, you will have the opportunity to learn about:
- Almost everything about effective movie crowd-funding
- The path from concept to implementation of smashing web videos
- Artistic and technical conditions resulting from the selection of film optics and film editing
- The process of overcoming obstacles in the production of full-length animated film in the conditions of international co-production
- The role of casting in feature and animated films

Participation costs:
Participation in the course is free for first and second year students of post-graduate studies at the Film and TV Production Organization Dept. of the Lodz Film School.
Other people pay a fee, the amount of which depends on the date the fee is received by the school:
499 PLN - payment received by January 24.
699 PLN – payment received from January 25.
The above fee should be paid either in person at the school's cash desk (open on weekdays from 9am to 4pm), or transferred to the following account:

The fee covers participation in the course and a coffee service.

NOTE: The number of places is very limited. The date of the fee registration determines your reservation. In the case of exceeding the quota, we reserve the right to terminate the recruitment earlier.
