ATTENTION! ATTENTION! Visual Narrative Laboratory / vnLab starts operating at the Lodz Film School.

We are going to explore contemporary visual narrative media such as VR, S3D, interactive forms and live broadcasts. The laboratory operates in an open manner and has announced COMPETITIONS for participation in the artistic and research programme. Details: vnlab.filmschool.lodz.pl/konkursy/

We also invite you to FILMTERACTIVE : filmteractive.eu with which the Lodz Film School has joined forces again this year. The Warsaw edition will take place this Friday, and on Monday, October 7, the Łódź edition will start.

The programme includes among others:

• "New visual narratives" - the first edition of the conference being the starting point for the activity of the Visual Narrative Laboratory at the Lodz Film School, whose task is to explore the areas of development of new forms of visual narrative in the contemporary media landscape. Speeches of recognized artists, experts and researchers from areas of interest of the individual laboratories of the Laboratory and discussions with them will highlight the current state of research on the visual narrative changing under the influence of technology and to present the most important artistic achievements in this field, and thus to set directions for further research and discussion.

• "Innovation Zone" - an interactive exhibition that allows you to learn about and experience the latest technology achievements that affect changes in the processes of creating and experiencing content.

• "VR vnLab Cinema" - presentation of the most interesting international VR productions, including premieres from festivals such as Sundance, Venice and Tribeca. The co-organizer is the XR Association and the Full Emersion Foundation.
