Right now at the Film School there are students from France and Africa, and our students Ania Morawiec, Jędrzej Michalak, Adam Suzin i Maciej Edelman are already in Africa.

All these student „migrations” have been made possible due to the unusual international project - Le CinéNomad School. Its aim is to make short fiction and documentary films internationally. Over 80 students representing schools from various continents create international film crews which will in total make 11 films in 4 countries, and none of the students will work in their home country.

The project’s partners, apart from the Lodz Film School, are: La CinéFabrique in Lyon, Institut Supérieur des Métiers de l'Audiovisuel – ISMA w Cotonou (Benin), L’Institut Supérieur de l’Image et du Son / Studio-Ecole (ISIS-SE) in Wagadugu (Burkina Faso) and L’Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) in Lagos (Nigeria).
