Marta Magnuska’s animated film "Inny" screening in the Cinéfondation section of the Cannes International Film Festival.

While waiting for a mysterious guest a group of people are imagining who he is and what he may look like. The stranger materializes in their imagination so that they can nearly feel his presence. However, the initial enthusiasm turns into anxiety…

 That’s, in brief, what Marta Magnuska’s animated film "Inny" is about. Marta Magnuska, our school’s animation student , will take part in Cannes Film Festival. She is a co- author of the film’s script which she wrote together with Paulina Lewicka. Sound: Anna Nowak and Guy Shahaf. Editing: Ewa Golis.

 Cinéfondation is a section of Cannes Film Festiwal which presents student films made in film schools. This year, there were 2426 film entries for the section out of which 17 films were chosen (14 fiction and 3 animated films). 71st International Film Festival in Cannes will start on 8 May. The prizes will be announced on 17 May.

 The film “Inny” was made under the artistic supervision of Mariusz Wilczyński and Joanna Jasińska-Koronkiewicz.

The film was co-financed by PISF (Polish Film Institute) .
