On the nearest Thursday (8th of March) we will have masterclass with Bartosz Chajdecki, a composer for music in films i.e. “Gods” by Łukasz Palkowski or “Animals” by Grzegorz Zgliński.

The Film School's cinema invites you to the composition masterclass with Bartosz Chajdecki, composer for the film like i.e. "Gods" and "The Fastest" by Łukasz Palkowski. Let’s talk about the whole process of composing film score.

How does a cooperation between composer and director work? What is the difference between music score and sound design? Where does composer take inspiration from? What are the limitations in the work of a composer on Polish market? And finally what role does music serve in a complete production? Bartosz Chajdecki gets ready to answer those questions.

After the meeting we will do screening of "Animals" directed by Grzegorz Zgliński with whom working as a composer was especially interesting /of which our guest will tell himself/.

BARTOSZ CHAJDECKI

DIR. GRZEGORZ ZGLIŃSKI
"Animals" is a story of married couple going through a crisis, and that’s why they decide to go to Switzerland. Him to meet the tastes of local food and bring those culinary inspirations to his own restaurant, her to use those 6 months to finish her book. When their car collides with a sheep they start to experience weird and unsettling visions: it ultimately leaves them both incapable of being certain exactly where they are: in the real world, in their own imaginations, in someone else's imagination, or maybe it’s the reality?
