This week, the Acting Departmnent is stitching Europe. The 3rd European drama Schools workshop has started. At first – the meeting with Beata Poźniak.

During the 3rd European Drama Schools’ workshop our acting students will have an opportunity to work with professors from the following schools: Eufrasio Lucena-Muñoz from the Spanish Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático (ESAD), Oxana Smilkova from the Czech Janáčková Akademie Múzických Umĕní, Brno, Michael Keller from the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst "Ernst Busch", Berlin, and also a special guest, our school’s graduate Beata Poźniak, the actress now based in the US.

During the workshop learning new acting techniques and expression methods by the participants reaches a different level, that beyond words, the level of body movement, gestures, rhythm, etc.
Beata Poźniak runs a workshop on casting and acting in front of a camera, and Michael Keller, Dean of Acting Dept from Hochschule für Schauspielkunst "Ernst Busch", Berlin, based his workshop on Homer’s "Odyssey". “The ancient belief in fate will be confronted by a contemporary conviction about the possibility of choice” – says Michael Keller.
