The International Documentary Film Festival OFF CINEMA in Poznań awards our two student films "Nauka" by Emi Buchwald & "Więzi" by Zofia Kowalewska.

Congratulations.

BRĄZOWY ZAMEK (BRONZE CASTLE) Prize went to a direction student Zofia Kowalewska for the film "Więzi" (Close Ties) produced by the Munk Studio. Photography: Weronika Bilska. Artistic supervision: Jacek Bławut.. The film tells a story of a couple, Barbara and Zdzisław, who had been married for 45 years. However, the recent eight years they spent apart Zdzislaw staying at his lady friend’s place. Only recently he moved back with Barbara. Little did they realize that moving back together would be so difficult.
Zofia Kowalewska’s film has been shortlisted for an Oscar Award in Foreign Language Short Documentary category.

ZŁOTY ZAMEK (GOLD CASTLE) Prize went to Emi Buchwald for the film "Nauka". Photography Tomasz Gajewski. Artistic supervision: Jacek Bławut & Andrzej Sapija. The film "Nauka" presents fourth grade pupils of a primary school who with the support of their parents try to understand poetry.

The International Documentary Film Festival OFF CINEMA awards the following prizes: Gold, Silver and Bronze Castle. This year, the festival took place from 16 to 20 November, 2016.
