The entrance exam in Polish for full-time Bachelor’s studies in sceenwriting took place on:
I phase – evaluating applicant’s work (without the candidate’s presence, from 01 June to 14 June 2011)
II phase – 22 June to 25 June 2011 in Lodz.

GETTING TO THE SCHOOL
The Directing Department of Film and Television offering the full-time directing Bachelor's and Master's programmes are located on the campus of the Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School on Targowa Street 61/63, building A.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Applicants for the full-time studies in Screenwriting at the Directing Department should submit the following documents by 31 May 2012:
- artistic CV - information about your creative achievements,
- why do you want to be a sceenwriter – one page of text, expressing your intentions, plans and expectations,- an idea for a fiction film – you must decide the format for your project (30, 50 or 90 minute) and then do the following:
- write a text which in a clear and convincing way outlines the main events of the film – up to 5 typed pages (Curier New 12 pt. font),
- write an author’s statement, where you will explain your concept for a movie as well as the form, style and genre of the film you intend to make – 1 typed page (Curier New 12 pt. font),
- select and write two separate dramatic scenes from the fiction film you would like to make that will best show the personality of your main character (before each scene you can provide a brief description of the context in which the scene takes place).
- literary works – a sample of selected texts (stories, prose, dramas, reportages, poetry) that you would like us to read (complete works or excerpts, together no more than 10 pages).
The required documents should be submitted in a tied white folder.

ENTRANCE EXAM FOR TUITION-FREE FULL-TIME STUDIES IN SCREENWRITING (BACHELOR’S DEGREE)
The entrance exam consists of two stages:
1) a preliminary qualification, when the exam commission evaluates the candidates' portfolios. There are no points given here. In mid June the Exam Commission announces a list of candidates qualified for the second stage;
2) at this stage the candidate's performance is evaluated by points. The goal of this stage is to eplore the professional and artistic predispositions of the candidate who participate in a few different dramaturgical tests and undergo an oral qualification interview.
Acceptance into the programme will be determined by the number of points as well as the number of open spaces, determined by the School.
Attention: Four paper copies of all texts must be handed in, as well as a copy on a CD.
