The candidates are required to show documentation of their work in the field of photography, as well as possess their own equipment and access to a workshop.  The three-year program ends with a diploma exam, which is composed of a presentation of their practical work in the form of a series of photographs or a multimedia show or an installation, as well as defending the student’s written theoretical Bachelor’s thesis (connected to the student’s practical diploma work).   

The educational program is based on the „workshop system” led by one person, according to the author’s programs.  The amount of workshops assures a wide variety of specializations in modern professional photography, such as: photographic journalism, press, creative, practical, commercial, portrait, etc.  The main group of lessons is held in workshops; as a supplement there is a wide variety of lessons on technological subjects, such as, lighting, digital image processing; as well as lessons on general subjects, such as, history of photography, audiovisual culture, copyright laws, problematics of graphic design, etc.
