Particular years of study have a tightly defined program of practical tasks.  Students independently create their film and television etudes as well as pictures (film and video camera operating) for students in the Directing Department.  All practical works are realized on professional equipment, 35 mm film or electronic systems, including HDTV.  Each operator dreams of finding the secret to creating the highest definition picture, which shooting on film stock gives you.

Our teaching method is well known among foreign students, who form a large percentage of our student body, and it is important to note that these students come from countries where cinematography is at a high level.  Graduates of our department after completing 5 years of studies and defending their final graduation project (in film or television) as well as their theoretical thesis will receive the title of Master of Arts.
