Over 200 people, professors and graduates, came back to Targowa to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Acting Dept which is older than the Lodz Film School itself. For lots of them it was the first meeting after many years.

- You’ve come to Lodz from many places in Poland and abroad. I am very happy to have you all here. I wish we could freeze this moment. It is said that the Acting Department is like one big family. I can see now that it is true. – said the Dean Zofia Uzelac welcoming the guests.

Among the guests there were former professors: Barbara Wałkówna, Janina Niesobska, Grażyna Matyszkiewicz, Mirosław Marcheluk, and Waldemar Wilhelm.

- It is a greart honour to meet you. A 70-year-long history of the Acting Department is very impressive not to mention the names of such great professors as Leon Schiller, Maria Kaniewska, Jan Machulski, and Aleksander Bednarz, from whom it all started, and then the graduates and among them: Jadwiga Barańska, Barbara Brylska, Mariusz Benoit, Artur Barciś, Zbigniew Zamachowski, Iza Kuna, Bartek Topa, anyway, you’re all great! - said Łukasz Maciejewski, who was a presenter of the official part of the reunion.
