“Singing Napkin” plus student films from Lodz Film School screening at the Wellington Polish Film Festival.

Wellington Polish Film Festival is the annual festival devoted entirely to Polish film. Its aim is to reflect the essence of Polish film, its historical aspects as well as modern ones. This year, the films from the Lodz Film School have contributed to the Festival program to a large. extent.

The festival audience will be able to see the first diploma film of our acting students: „Singing Napkin” directed by the school Rector Mariusz Grzegorzek, as well as student films of such directors as Andrzej Wajda - “Kiedy Ty śpisz”, Jerzy Skolimowski „Hamleś”, Krzysztof Kieślowski - „Koncert życzeń”, and student films of more recent graduates: „Męska sprawa” by Sławomir Fabicki and „Smolarze” by Piotr Złotorowicz.

The film program from the Lodz Film School also includes animated films such as: „Kigo” by Izumi Yoshida, „Dokument” by Marcin Podolec, „Łukasz i Lotta” by Renata Gąsiorowska, „Narodziny narodu” by Kamil Polak, „Ab ovo” by Anita Kwiatkowska-Naqvi.

The Festival takes place in Wellington (Paramount Cinema) from 30 September to 9 October. The Lodz Film School is the Festival’s partner.
