Congratulations to our teacher Andrzej Mellin who gets the CILECT Teaching Award.

CILECT, Centre International de Liaison des Ecoles de Cinéma et de Télévision, the International Association of Film and TV Schools, initiated the Teaching Award Project three years ago in the framework of which the teachers of the member schools have been granted awards in recognition of their educational work. This year, one of the three CILECT Teaching Award winners is the Head of the Screenwriting Faculty at the Lodz Film School, Andrzej Mellin. The other winners are: Tadao Sato from JIMI (Japan Institute of the Moving Image) and Jyoti Mistry from South African Wits School of Arts. The candidature of Andrzej Mellin’s was put forward by the Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film from Munich, where Andrzej Mellin works as a visiting professor, and it was supported by the Lodz Film School.

The Teaching Award 2016 Ceremony will be held on 21 Nov., 2016 during the CILECT Congress in Brisbane, Australia, hosted by Griffith Film School (20-24 Nov., 2016)
