The Future Frames Program originated by the Festival and the European Film Promotion, is meant to promote young film-makers in film industry. There are 10 film directors in the program, Poland being represented by Klara Kochanska. During the Karlovy Vary Festival the program participants will present their artistic achievements.

Klara will present her film "Lokatorki" (Tenants). The film produced by the Lodz Film School starring Julia Kijowska was shot by Zuzanna Kernbach, our school’s cinematography graduate. The film’s artistic supervisors were: Robert Gliński, Wojciech Marczewski and Jerzy Zieliński. The film was awarded the Short Grand Prix as the best short film at the 31st Warsaw Film Festival. The film "Lokatorki" also got the Golden Prize, as the best international film, at the Global Chinese Universities Student Film and Television Festival in Hong Kong.

The film "Lokatorki" will be screened twice at the Karlovy Vary Festival: on 5 July at 15:30 hrs (Small Hall) and 9 July at 19:30 hrs (Lazne III Cinema).

The Festival takes place from 1 to 9 July.
