The months of June and July are a busy time at the Lodz Film School in Targowa Street. The lucky ones who pass the entrance exam will start their studies in film direction, cinematography, screenwriting, animation, editing, acting, photography and production management this October. The competition is really high, e.g., 148 applicants compete for 8 places in film direction faculty, and as many as 680 applicants compete for 20 places in acting studies.
