European Drama Workshop "Stitching Europe" at the Lodz Film School coming to an end. "Respect for Acting", Uta Hagen’s book promotion on 2nd Oct.

Students from those schools took part in the workshop: ARTS 2 from Mons, Institut für Schauspiel und Schauspielregie Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst from Vienna, Akademija Umetnosti from Belgrade, HB Studio from New York and Hochschule für Schauspielkunst "Ernst Busch" from Berlin, and the host Lodz Film School.

It’s a great opportunity for the students to work with the teachers from the best drama schools in Europe and the world. – said Zofia Uzelac, Dean of Acting Dept. – Student have been practicing various techniques and expression methods only through the usage of their bodies. Actors must be able to go beyond words and express themselves through the universal language, the body language.

The workshop based on exercising various techniques of body expression was run by: Bernard Clair zfrom ARTS 2 École Supérieure Des Arts, Academy of Arts w Mons; Grażyna Dyląg from Institut für Schauspiel und Schauspielregie Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst, Vienna; Carol Rosenfeld from HB Studio, New York; Dragana Varagić from Akademija Umetnosti, Belgrade, and Michael Keller from Hochschule für Schauspielkunst "Ernst Busch", Berlin.

European Drama Workshop "Stitching Europe" last from 24 September to 2 October. On the final day of the workshop there will be a forum on the latest acting techniques summing up the workshop as well as a promotion of Uta Hagen’s book “Respect for Acting” and a meeting with Carol Rosenfeld from Hagen Institute at HB Studio. The venue: TV Studio, Building Z at the Lodz Film School.
