- We don’t want to boast but undoubtedly the Lodz Film School is full of extremely talented people who mature and get moulded as full-fledged artists there. We wish to show you the results of a very complex process of making films. Look at it in a Samaritan way. The programme includes some really beautiful films – said the Lodz Film School Rector, prof. Mariusz Grzegorzek, opening the 13th „Łodzią po Wiśle” Festival. "Łodzią po Wiśle" is the Lodz Film School student film competition screening student films made in the recent academic year.

- We sailed this direction for the 13th time. We are about to show you what films are made in the Lodz Film School. Enjoy the screening. – said the Festival Director, Krzysztof Brzezowski. The Competition has been organized in Warsaw since 2003. Since its beginning the main aim of the Festival "Łodzią po Wiśle" has been the promotion of Lodz Film School students, confrontation of their work with a wide audience and film circles through creating a forum for discussion about the future of the Polish cinema.

- No matter what you think about this School, for sure, it’s the only place where films are being made. It’s a school which during those few years of your studies gives you what it promised at the very beginning. The Lodz Film School rules! – said its Rector.
