John Burgan, a British documentary director and a graduate of the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield (UK), is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Newport Film School (Documentary Film & TV course) now subsumed into the University of South Wales. In the 1980ties he worked at the BBC TV News in London. In the years 1992 – 2006 he lived and worked in Berlin as a screenwriter, director and editor. In the years 2006 – 2008 he was a lecturer at the European Film College in Denmark.
