The film „Last Piano Player” by Marco Bartkowiak, a second year cinematography student, tells a story of a pianist who is an alcoholic. The protagonist spends most of his time in his favourite bar getting involved in superficial relationships with women to compensate for the women he really cared for and lost because of his addiction.

– I wanted to use the most advanced equipment to shoot this film. I used anamorphic lenses and each take involved a grip, a dolly or a crane – said Marco Bartkowiak.

The artistic supervisor of the film is Prof. Stanisław Szymański.
