The Film School is collecting money for physiotherapy for Krzysztof Globisz, a theatre and film actor. The funds raised from ticket sales for this Sunday’s performance of ‘The Wedding’.

‘Krzysztof Globisz is not only a great artist but also an exceptional person, who has always been very kind and helpful to our department and our school and now it is him who needs our help’, - Zofia Uzelac, the Dean of Acting Department comments on the fund raising for Krzysztof Globisz. This Sunday, the Gombrowicz International Festival award-winning play ‘The Wedding’ directed by Waldemar Zawodziński will be staged at the Studyjny Theatre. The funds raised from ticket sales will contribute to the actor’s recovery costs.

Krzysztof Globisz is a graduate and lecturer of the Cracow Drama School. We all remember his great theatre and film roles. Having experienced an acute stroke, Krzysztof is now undergoing long-term and expensive physiotherapy. The Lodz Film School is collecting money to help the actor. All those who would like to contribute are requested to contact the Acting Dept. office (phone 42 27 55 832 Building H, 1st floor). ‘We would love to help him to recover soon. He’s an irreplaceable colleague – irreplaceable’, adds Prof. Zofia Uzelac.

The tickets for ‘The Wedding’ can be booked by mail: biletyst@filmschool.lodz.pl or phone 42 63 64 166. More information on the play ‘The Wedding’ can be found at the Lodz Studyjny Theatre website: www.teatrstudyjny.lodz.pl
