Silver Lions for the film "Pod mocnym aniołem" by Wojciech Smarzowski, Best Direction award for Władysław Pasikowski, and two awards for "Miasto 44" by Jan Komasa.

19-year-old Zofia Wichłacz received the Best Leading Actress award at the 39th Gdynia Film Festival for her excellent performance as Alicja "Biedronka" in "Miasto 44" directed by our graduate Jan Komasa (2006 diploma).
Vit Komrza received an additional prize for special effects in the film "Miasto 44".
Władysław Pasikowski, a Lodz Film School direction graduate (1988 diploma), received the Best Direction award for his film "Jack Strong", which was also awarded the Amber Lion Prize for the best box office film of the past season.
The Best Direction award was handed by: Magdalena Zawadzka and Janusz Zaorski. Silver Lion Prize was awarded to the film "Pod Mocnym Aniołem" by Wojciech Smarzowski, a Lodz Film School cinematography garduate (1990 diploma).
