On 19th Sept at the 39th Film Festival in Gdynia, prizes were awarded in the Youth Cinema Competition as well as additional prizes, among them for "Fragments" by Aga Woszczyńska.

The diploma film, "Fragments" by Aga Woszczyńska, screened within the Youth Cinema Competition of the 39th Polish Fiction Film Festival in Gdynia, received the Special Prize named after Ewa Kamirska . The film was made under the artistic supervision of Filip Bajon and Ryszard Lenczewski.

Don Quixote , the Prize of the Polish Film Club Federation, was awarded to a full-length debut film of our graduate Grzegorz Jaroszuk entitled, "Kebab & Horoskope", which also received the Film Clubs and Local Cinemas Network Prize .

The student film, "The Siamese" by Joaquín Del Paso (artistic supervision: Stanisław Szymański) received an Honorary Distinction in the Youth Cinema Competition.

During "the small gala" of the Gdynia Film Festival, "Golden Kittens", the Gdynia Youth Council Prize, was awarded to the film, "Miasto 44" by Jan Komasa, a Lodz Film School direction graduate. Anna Próchniak, a Lodz Film School acting graduate of 2013, playing Kama in "Miasto 44" by Jan Komasa, received the “Elle” Rising Star Prize.

The film "Jack Strong" by Władysław Pasikowski, a Lodz Film School direction graduate of 1988, was awarded the Amber Lion Prize for the best box office film of the past season.

The Gala presenter was Maciej Orłoś.
