"Such a Landscape" by Jagoda Szelc, "Shame" by Karma Fryc and "Flora & Fauna" by Piotr Litwin will be screened during the BFI London Film Festival (8 - 19 October).

"Such a Landscape" by Jagoda Szelc, photography by Zuzanna Pyda, won the student film competition at the 21st Camerimage Festival in Bydgoszcz (16 – 23 November, 2013). This short fiction film film was made under the artistic supervision of Mariusz Grzegorzek and Ryszard Lenczewski.

Jagoda Szelc about making the film, "Such a landscape": 'In order to free oneself from the fear of death, in my opinion, five states or deeds are required: perceive the miracle, compensate for the sin – even in a small way, repent sometimes for one’s wrong-doings. 'I could never understand those who say they don’t regret anything; pray and forgive. The film is a present for Mila, an important girl to me, for her first birthday. I think that one day I will have to teach her, as an old aunt, how to die. I would like to be able to do it peacefully'.
About the work with her director of photography: 'With Zuza and the rest of the crew, we are a perfect team. It is great to be able to work with somebody as talented as Zuza. And what is extremely important is the fact that we always know why we are making a given film.

"Shame" by Karma Fryc, a cinematography student, was made under the artistic supervision of Ryszard Lenczewski and Tomasz Samosionek. The Poznan Short Waves Festival 2014 Jury (30 March - 6 April) honoured the film with a distinction for "great sensitivity and imagination both visual and emotional. We’ve noticed that there are many aspects of shame, shades and half-shades with no definite limit". The student speaks about her film: "Here I am. The present supported by delusions of the past. Free or deprived of dignity? Who’s ashamed? Me or you? It’s difficult to share a secret." "

Flora & fauna" by Piotr Litwin, photography by Mateusz Wajda (artistic supervision: Filip Bajon, Csaba Pollok, Fabio Grassadonia, Piotr Wojtowicz) on 9 June, 2014, received the main prize in short fiction film competition at the Ismailia International Film Festival for Documentaries & Shorts.
