The Lodz Film School Publishing Unit invites to a meeting with a director, Jacek Koprowicz, who will be promoting his book "Medium. Wizualizacja warstw narracyjnych" in Sopot on 21st August.
The meeting organized within the scheme “Literature in Sopot” will take place on 21st August (Thursday) at 6 p.m. at the 3Siostry Club (Dom Zdrojowy, 6, Powstańców Warszawy St.).
The meeting will be accompanied by the "Medium" film screening and a discussion about the film production. It will also be an opportunity to get the "Medium" books, richly illustrated with the stills from the film and accompanied by DVDs with the film, at an attractive promotional price. Free access to the event!
"Medium" is the first Polish film dealing with the occult. In the year of its premiere it had 500,000 viewers.
The most famous scenes from the film take place in a building at 24, Obrońców Wybrzeża Street – one of the most beautiful villas in Sopot. It is there where in a mysterious way the paths of all the characters cross, and unusual and surprising events and bloodcurdling situations occur.
Film cast: Władysław Kowalski, Michał Bajor, Grażyna Szapołowska, Jerzy Stuhr, Jerzy Zelnik, Ewa Dałkowska, Jerzy Nowak. Music: Krzesimir Dębski.
