The BROKEN FLOWERS project by Daria Przybylska and Artem Rachkelyuk is among the winners of this year's edition of the War on Screen Fabrique programme, of which the School is a Partner.

Here is the synopsis of the winning project: Nadia, a Ukrainian girl, works in a hotel in Warsaw. One day, a Russian pianist comes to the hotel to take part in a Chopin competition. The BROKEN FLOWERS project, with which Daria Przybylska (production student) and Artem Rachkelyuk (directing student) represented our School in the international programme is one of the winners, and therefore - it will be produced!

WoS Fabrique is a European support programme for the screenwriting, production and direction of feature films related to the broadly understood topic of war conflicts, created as part of the War on Screen International Film Festival and is an integral part of it. The programme partners are European film schools: La Fémis from France, Filmuniversität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf from Germany, ECAM from Spain and the Lodz Film School.

The War on Screen Fabrique programme aims to contribute to the emergence of a new generation of screenwriters, producers and directors who are interested in a topic which now more than ever permeates our society.

Congratulations and we are looking forward to the film being produced!
