Our cinematography graduate Marek Kozakiewicz’s documentary film SILENT LOVE received the Jury Honorable Mention at SLAMDANCE Film Festival.

Slamdance Festival was held from 20 to 26 January in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, and the online edition will last until 29, January.
Slamdance Film Festival is organized by filmmakers and for filmmakers as an alternative to the famous Sundance. Every year, the festival hosts artistic and independent films by young artists from around the world, which are presented to the American independent cinema community.

SILENT LOVE had its world premiere at the Visions du Reel festival in Nyon, Switzerland. It was also presented at the Hot Docs in Canada and IDFA in Amsterdam. At the German DOK, Leipzig received the MDR TV Award for the Best Film from Eastern Europe, as well as the Millennium Docs Against Gravity awards for the Best Polish Film and for the Best Debut, the Wielki Jantar (Great Amber) award in the Feature-Length Documentary Debuts Competition at the "The Youth and the Film" festival in Koszalin, Poland and the Aleksander Kamiński Media "Man in Danger" Festival in Łódź.

The film's director, screenwriter and cinematographer is Marek Kozakiewicz, a cinematography graduate of our school, and the film was edited by Agata Cierniak and Anna Garncarczyk, our editing graduates.
