Damian Kocur, PhD student at the Doctoral School and director of the film BREAD AND SALT, has been awarded the Bronze Pyramid for his feature debut at the Cairo International Film Festival.
The Cairo International Film Festival was held from 13 to 22 November, 2022.
The Cairo International Film Festival is one of the dozen or so A-class film festivals in the world accredited by the FIAPF, alongside such festivals as Cannes, Venezia, Berlinale and others. It is also one of the most important international film events taking place in the Arab world. Every year it presents the latest Egyptian cinema as well as international productions.
