The pianist Tymek, a student of the Warsaw Academy of Music, returns to his hometown for summer holidays. The provincial town, like many others in Poland, is a place where time has stood still, especially now during hot holidays. Tymek's friends as well as his brother Jacek, also a pianist who, however, did not get in the Academy of Music, stayed in the town. They hang around in the district. The central meeting point for local youth is the newly established kebab bar. Local youth get on with foreigners who run it but there are some minor exceptions. Over time, the conflict between the bar staff and the boys arises. Fear and a sense of threat begin to develop in intimidated foreigners.

Congratulations – or remaining in the festival atmosphere on Lido – complimenti!
