Lecturers and graduates of the Lodz Film School among the nominees for the Polish Film Awards EAGLES 2022.

The Polish Film Academy has announced the nominations of the 24th Polish Film Awards EAGLES 2022.

The nominees were selected by members of the Polish Film Academy from among 71 films in the Main Competition , 67 titles in the Best Documentary Film category, and 19 productions in the Best Film Series. The Polish Film Awards, EAGLES, have been awarded annually by the Polish Film Academy for 24 years. Awarded to professionals by professionals, the EAGLES are today one of the most desirable awards on the Polish film market.

The name of the winner of the Life Achievement Eagle Award will be announced on 20, April.

Here are "our" EAGLE nominations:

WESEלE, dir. Wojciech Smarzowski, our graduate of the Cinematography and TV Production Dept., has received 10 nominations for Best Film, Best Direction, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography and others.

In the Best Documentary Film category, the nominations went to:

FILM BALKONOWY, dir. Paweł Łoziński, our graduate of Film and TV Direction Dept.
SĘDZIOWIE POD PRESJĄ, dir. Kacper Lisowski, our graduate of the Cinematography and TV Production Dept.
UCIECZKA NA SREBRNY GLOB, dir. Kuba Mikurda, our lecturer

In the Best Film Series category, the nominations went to:

BEHAWIORYSTA, dir. Łukasz Palkowski and Marek Wróbel, our graduate of Film Art Organization Dept.
KLANGOR, dir. Łukasz Kośmicki, our graduate of Cinematography and TV Production Dept.
KRUK. CZORNY WORON NIE ŚPI, dir. Maciej Pieprzyca, our Screenwriting faculty graduate
ROJST'97 dir. Jan Holoubek, our graduate of the Cinematography and TV Production Dept.
SEXIFY, dir. Piotr Domalewski and Kalina Alabrudzińska, our graduate of the Film and TV Production Dept.

The nominees in the Best Direction category are:

In the Best Cinematography category, nominations went to our graduates of the Cinematography and TV Production Dept.:

WESEלE Artur Reinhart for the film ŻUŻEL

In the Best Art Direction category, Wojciech Żogała, our graduate and lecturer at the Film and TV Directing Dept., was nominated for the film BO WE MNIE JEST SEKS.

Nominations in the Best Editing category went to:

Jarosław Kamiński, our lecturer at the Film and TV Directing Dept., for the film AIDA
Paweł Łoziński, Bartłomiej Piasek and Piotr Wójcik, our graduates of the Film and TV Directing Dept., for FILM BALKONOWY
Izabela Pająk, graduate of the Film and TV Directing Dept., for UCIECZKA NA SREBRNY GLOB

In the Leading Actress category the nomination went to Maria Dębska, our Acting Dept. graduate, for the role in the film BO WE MNIE JEST SEKS.

In the Supporting Actor category the nomination went to Adam Woronowicz, our lecturer at the Acting Dept, for a role in the film MOJE WSPANIAŁE ŻYCIE.

In the Discovery of the Year category, Iwona Siekierzyńska, our graduate of the Film and TV Directing Dept., was nominated for directing the film AMATORZY.
