The list of winners will be announced in spring 2022.

Digital Ars is a competition aimed at groups and individual artists who create art using Artificial Intelligence (AI). This year, it is implemented with the support of the City of Łódź and its partners the Łódź universities: Łódź Polytechnics, Łódź Film School and the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź.

The aim of the competition is to support the development of innovation in Poland by promoting the possibilities of A.I. and through education by taming fears in the field of artificial intelligence by showing its new potentials as well as encouraging society to engage in public dialogue about these new technologies and their role in modern society.

The Digital Poland Foundation invites groups, individual artists and programmers who create artistic media in the form of images, video, sound or text written in Polish or English with the help of artificial intelligence to participate in the competition. The art should be created entirely by software running on a computer and be a digital image, video, sound or text file, and its generation must be repeatable by running the indicated software.

The previous edition of the competition attracted 51 talented artists whose digital works were assessed by the jury. Almost 600 people took part in the audience voting, casting their vote for their favourites.

Digital Ars Day is a joint project of the Digital Poland Foundation and the City of Łódź.

The institutional partner of Digital Ars is the Filmteractive Festival, and the partner is the Digica company.

The honorary patronage of the Digital Ars competition was given by the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, the Łódź Polytechnics and the Lodz Film School.
