One of the most talented, interesting and most sought-after actors in recent years will conduct workshops for 3rd and 4th year students of acting as part of Łukasz Maciejewski's classes.

Łukasz Maciejewski, one of our Acting Department lecturers has already got his students used to great guests and meetings. Next Tuesday, November 16, after almost 2 years, we will be visited by the actor Łukasz Simlat.

He is famous for being a workaholic who carefully prepares himself for each of the roles he receives. He only decides on proposals that allow him to "get into the role". As he says, there is no place for "pretences" in his work.

"The only defence in our profession is what we have inside. It is important to be aware of your own value and be capable of self-criticism."

"Everyone comes to a milestone in their professional life which is an important moment that changes them. It needn’t be visible from the outside. It is important to realize that it will be a moment for you which is worth remembering. "

When asked what he would have said to himself at the beginning of his acting career, but from today's perspective looking back over 20 years of experience, Łukasz Simlat replied: "Always calm and always 100%".

It was like that 2 years ago and probably nothing has changed!
