The animated short BEASTS AMONG US by Natalia Durszewicz was chosen the Best Animated Film in the International Competition of the 12th CAMERA ACTION Film Art Critics Festival.
The Jury statement reads:
"For creating a work that bravely and skillfully uses symbols with HUMANISTIC SENSITIVITY looking into the depths of the soul, and reaching archetypes in a short film form".

Set in a surreal landscape, the film tells us about the role-reversal of victims and predators. It shows the world we live in from the perspective of the most vulnerable placed at the end of the food chain, being eaten, exploited for entertainment, doomed to be stuck in the lower social class. A world full of inequality, division, brutality and a constant struggle for survival. In such a reality, it is difficult to remain innocent. Prey turns into predator, predator turns into prey.
