12th Camera Action Film Art Critics’ Festival invites you to the editing case study of the film "Magic Mountains" by Urszula Antoniak run by Milenia Fiedler.

The 12th Camera Action Festival will include the Polish premiere of Urszula Antoniak's latest film which was edited by Milenia Fiedler, Rector of the Łódź Film School.

In the production which had its world premiere at the Toronto festival, you can see among others, Marcin Dorociński, accompanied by the stars of Dutch cinema, Hanna Hoekstra and Thomas Ryckewaert.

"Magic Mountains" is a unique item in the director's filmography and an interesting example proving that creating auteur films does not have to mean giving up genre inspiration. The story involves three characters. Lex, a writer of popular novels, who asks his muse Hannah, once his partner in mountain expeditions, to go with him to the mountains one last time. They will be accompanied by a professional guide, Wojtek. What are Lex's true intentions? What mystery connects the two heroes?

As part of the Education Action project, Milenia Fiedler will tell participants about the challenges associated with editing an intimate thriller, which in this case involves just three characters.

The meeting, chaired by Bolesław Racięski, will take place on October 3 at 6.00 p.m. at the Łódź Film School Cinema. Streaming on facebook.com/kameraakcja and youtube.com of the Camera Action Festival.
