We are happy to announce: 39th DRAMA SCHOOLS’ FESTIVAL opened. After the pandemic break, the festival returns to theatres! WE’RE BACK ON STAGE. The Festival will last until 24, October.
What an autumn! After the pandemic break, we can at last meet in theatres!
Each year, young actresses and actors bursting with inexhaustible energy graduate from theatre academies. They want to share their hopes, dreams and passion with the world.
We are happy to announce that the 39th Drama School’s Festival will be held from 18-24 October, 2021 in Łódź.
Oh how we longed for direct meetings between artists and audiences, for unique festival emotions, for discussions after the shows! WE’RE BACK ON STAGE playing to real audiences!
We already know for sure that it is impossible to live only online. But you can do it a bit. The 39th Drama Schools’ Festival will run as a hybrid. Parallel to the shows at the Nowy Theatre, the Studyjny Theatre, the Arlekin Puppet Theatre, the Pinokio Theatre and the Łódź Film School, the shows will also be available free of charge on the website https://festiwalszkolteatralnych.pl/
This year, we will present 14 competition plays from the Theatre Academy in Warsaw and its branch in Białystok, the Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków and its branch in Wrocław, the Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków and its branch in Bytom, and the Acting Department of the Łódź Film School.
The diploma shows will be carefully watched by an experienced and sympathetic jury composed of: Marek Fiedor, Jacek Głomb, Dorota Ignatjew, Wawrzyniec Kostrzewski and Mariola Wiśniewska.
As usual, during the festival, there will be workshops and meetings with renowned actresses and actors: Jacek Braciak, Karolina Bruchnicka, Magdalena Koleśnik and Piotr Trojan.
Long, October evenings promise to be really hot and inspiring.
