Łódź Film School photography students invite you to the opening of the exhibition which will be held at the State Art Gallery in Sopot on Sept 3, at 7 p.m. The exhibition will last until Sept., 19.
As a result of the agreement between the Rector of the Łódź Film School, Milenia Fiedler and the Mayor of the City of Sopot, Jacek Karnowski, a photographic plein-air took place in which seven of our photography students participated.
The works which are the outcome of the plein-air will be presented during the W RAMACH SOPOTU (In the Framework of Sopot) Festival.

The exhibition opening will take place at the State Art Gallery in Sopot on September 3 at 7 p.m.
The exhibition will run until September 19.
Baltic amber, common in the vicinity of the Gdańsk Bay, belongs to a group of highly valued decorative gems. From the earliest times, it has been used in trade, ornamentation and jewellery. The so-called "Baltic gold" is a natural organic substance which comes in various sizes and shades and takes on completely unique forms.
During the Sopot plein-air Łódź Film School students created multidimensional projects on various topics such as: contemporary spiritualism, the portrait of the local queer community, "big brother" supervision, real-digital nature, also asking the following questions: "What to do when there are no waves?", or "What will happen when there is no sea?"
Each of these stories, just like Baltic ambers, was formed in a seaside entourage and shines with its uniqueness.
Take them with you, my dear friend.
