Every artist who has devoted himself to X muse knows how important the post-production process is in each film, and in particular in animated stop-motion films. However, not everyone knows the degree of difficulty of work related to the processing of materials, creating virtual set design or working on visual effects in a stereoscopic image.
Therefore, after very fruitful discussions between the S3D vnLab http://vnlab.filmschool.lodz.pl/wyszukiwanie/?pracownia=pracownia-s3d and the Institute of Computer Science at the Faculty of Technical Physics, Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of the Lodz Polytechnic, we decided to establish closer cooperation on the film project "IN SIDE" implemented as part of the research programme of the S3D vnLab.
Applied computer science students will be mainly involved in recreating camera movement in virtual space (tracking), creating maps and 3D modelling. An interesting fact is that as part of our cooperation, one engineering thesis in the field of applied computer science will be carried out. We look forward to the first fruits of our cooperation.
