The National Centre for Film Culture in Lodz wishes to invite you to a series of exceptional cultural events related to the 80th anniversary of the birth of KRZYSZTOF KIESLOWSKI. We are the Partner.
The main event will be a multimedia exhibition BEZ KONCA. DIALOGI KRZYSZTOFA KIESLOWSKIEGO, which will take place at the seat of the National Centre for Film Culture in Lodz, from 26.06.2021 to 12.09.2021.
The exhibits will include e.g. original documents, scripts, photos, still photographs, posters, prizes, memorabilia, and also movie and photo cameras used by the director. Many of these documents and film technology objects will be shown publicly for the first time! The exhibition will be complemented with audiovisual materials: screenings of fragments of films, as well as mapping. There are also planned meetings with artists working with the director, occasional publications and accompanying events.

Another event will be the unveiling of the star of Maja Komorowska in the Lodz Star Avenue.
The National Centre for Film Culture is also preparing a number of attractions and events accompanying the exhibition.
Maria Kieslowska – a widow of the artist – will take the patronage over the event.
The events starting with the opening of the exhibition will be followed by the two-day International Conference "Illuminating the Archives. Film Archives Alive and Their Audiences" in Sokolowsko - a place where the director spent a huge part of his life and where today The Krzysztof Kieslowski Archives are located.
The conference panels will take place on 28-29 June 2021 and will be available online.
