For the 23rd time, the Polish Film Academy awarded prizes for the best Polish films of the past year.

KILL IT AND LEAVE THIS TOWN by Mariusz Wilczyński receives four prizes in total for BEST FILM, BEST SCREENPLAY, BEST SOUND AND BEST MUSIC.

The most awards - seven - went to the film 25 YEARS OF INNOCENCE directed by JAN HOLOUBEK, our graduate of the Cinematography and Television Production Department, including the BEST DIRECTION and DISCOVERY OF THE YEAR.

In the BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY category, prizes were awarded to our graduates of the Cinematography and TV Production Department PIOTR SOBOCIŃSKI JR for the film I NEVER CRY and MICHAŁ ENGLERT for the film NEVER GONNA SNOW AGAIN.

In the BEST EDITING category, the award went to our graduate and lecturer at the Editing Faculty RAFAŁ LISTOPAD, for editing the film 25 YEARS OF INNOCENCE.

The award for the BEST LEADING ACTOR went to our Acting Department graduate PIOTR TROJAN, for his role in the film 25 YEARS OF INNOCENCE.

THE AUDIENCE AWARD was awarded to the film SUICIDE ROOM. HATER directed by JAN KOMASA, our graduate and lecturer at the Film and Television Directing Department.

 THE EAGLE LIFE ACHIEVEMENT AWARD went to the outstanding composer and jazz musician JERZY "DUDUŚ" MATUSZKIEWICZ, a graduate of the Cinematography and TV Production Department.
