The PhD Science Club of Film Directing & Production in cooperation with the PhD Students' Council invites you online to a meeting and workshop with the director, Grzegorz Zariczny, on June 26, 11-14

Grzegorz Zariczny is an extremely interesting person among contemporary Polish artists. In his work, he combines fiction with documentary, using a very specific, original method of film-making oscillating between these two genres. Born in 1983, the director has collected many awards and distinctions for his films (including Sundance Film Festival, Krakow Film Festival, New Horizons, Koszalin Festival of Film Debuts, Tarnów Film Award, Festival of Polish Feature Films in Gdynia, Talent Trójki and others).

Currently, his latest film, "Proste rzeczy" which received extremely flattering reviews of critics, has been released. This unique story combines in an unusual way feature cinema with documentary elements.

Saturday's meeting will be devoted to this specific method of the director's work which he has been using consistently from the very beginning of his artistic path. During the meeting, using selected scenes from his films, the director will analyze and break down the methodology of his work on various levels - from screenplay to work with actors and editing.

The meeting is open to the entire school community and will be held online via the TEAMS app.
