Our animated short GREEN by Karolina Kajetanowicz will have its premiere in the international competition at the 67. International Short Film Festival Oberhausen as the only one Polish film selected.

67. International Short Film Festival Oberhausen will be held in May, 1-10.

44 exceptional films from 34 countries have been selected for this competition, all of which will be shown as international or world premieres. Africa is strongly represented, with three original productions from Rwanda, Senegal and South Africa; Asia with productions from China, Iran, Japan, Nepal, the Philippines and South Korea. Well over half of the entries are by female directors, more than ever in this competition where female filmmakers are traditionally strong. The diversity of forms and content is impressive: from short fiction films to documentaries to Instagram performances as short films, this competition reflects the whole range of current international short film.

GREEN
Roadside greenery is a noman’s land. It was created to be passed by, not to be in it. Geometrical and artificial, yet taken by wild weeds – does it belong to man, or to nature? The same goes for your Body. You drag It through your days instead of being in It. Be It. I made this film for you to relax. To ease your senses between real films. To take a nap. Sweet dreams, fellow Body. I love you.
