Can FADING SNOW be expected in Tampere in March?

YES, for sure! FADING SNOW, the short fiction diploma by Anna Morawiec, is the only Polish film in the international competition of the 2021 Tampere Film Festival.

Out of 6,330 films from around the world which had been submitted for selection to participate in this prestigious annual international festival taking place in Finnish Tampere, only 59 from 44 countries were selected, including the diploma short fiction FADING SNOW directed by Anna Morawiec, as the only one from Poland!
2021 Tampere Film Festival will be held on March 10-14, online.

The awarded films will be announced at the live streamed Award Ceremony on Sunday, 14th of March, from 12.00 noon (UTC +02:00)

A total of 6 330 films were submitted. 38 (59,375%) of the selected films were directed by females, 25 films (39,06 %) by males, and 1 film (1,56%) by non-binary genders.

Selections were made by the Tampere Film Festival Board member Liina Härkönen, Festival Director Jukka-Pekka Laakso, and Head of Programme Riina Mikkonen.

When the heart breaks, the crack spreads into the weakest areas of the surrounding reality. The film shows one night in the life of 35-year-old Mania, who leaves her safe shelter - the Theatre - and sets off in search of her way home. There is only that which can be seen.
