The Actors 'Club and the PhD Student Council at the Łódź Film School invite you to a meeting and workshop with the director and screenwriter, our graduate Dorota Kędzierzawska, on January, 23 at 12:00
DOROTA KĘDZIERZAWSKA was born in 1957. Director, screenwriter and editor.
She graduated from the Directing Department of the Łódź Film School, although initially she studied directing at the Moscow VGIK, as well as at the Cultural Studies Department of the University of Lodz.
Member of the Polish Film Academy.
Winner of the Polityka Passport in 1998 in the FILM category.
Her student films and films have been awarded many times at the most important international and Polish festivals: JAJKO (nomination for the student Oscar), KONIEC ŚWIATA, DIABŁY, DIABŁY, WRONY, NIC, JESTEM, PORA UMIERAĆ, JUTRO BĘDZIE LEPIEJ, such as, in Mannheim, Cannes, Berlin, Trieste, Malmo, Leeds and Gdynia.
For years she has been working with the same cinematographer, Artur Reinhart, also a graduate of the Łódź Film School, forming a unique creative duo.
Their latest film ŻUŻEL was made in 2020.
