Lodz Film School direction students Aniela Gabryel and Jagoda Szelc and Ita Zbroniec-Zajt, cinematography graduate, have been nominated for the prize - Wrocław ARTistic Discoveries.

Aniela Gabryel got the nomination for "Lecieć nie lecieć" (To Fly or not to Fly), a student documentary shot by Zuzanna Pyda, which in April 2013 won the Planet+ Doc Festival Director’s Award; artistic supervision: Jacek Bławut, Maciej Drygas, Mirosław Dembiński.

Jagoda Szelc has been nominated for her student fiction film "Taki pejzaż" (photography Zuzanna Pyda – Golden Tadpole at the Camerimage 2013). The film was made under the artistic supervision of Mariusz Grzegorzek and Ryszard Lenczewski.

Ita Zbroniec-Zajt, Lodz Film School cinematography graduate, has been nominated for the photography in a documentary "Była wojna" by Maria Zmarz-Koczanowicz.

Wrocław ARTistic Discoveries are  "Wyborcza Newspaper” culture prizes called “It’s Worth”  promoting  „young artists, who contribute to artistic life of the city with something new and lively”.

Everybody can give a vote for each of the 25 nominees. The winners in all five disciplines will get 10,000 PLN.

The city of Wrocław, European Capital of Culture 2016, is the patron of the “It’s Worth” prize,
whereas Archicom, a  developer supporting young Wrocław artists, its partner.
New Horizons cinema is the event’s co-organizer, and the Wrocław "What’s on" newspaper is the press patron.
The prizes are being awarded for the 6th time.
