The 38th THEATRE SCHOOLS’ FESTIVAL will be held on November 23-29, 2020, ONLINE. Join us and enjoy it!
38th THEATRE SCHOOLS FESTIVAL enters the stage.
LET'S BE IN IT TOGETHER!
Has anyone assumed that we would give up this year, abandon the stage and allow the unique vibe of graduation plays from Polish theatre schools to be lost due to Covid restrictions?
No, we will not do that! No way!
We have a different plan for the pandemic autumn and a galaxy of fantastic actresses and actors waiting to perform for you, although in different circumstances.
No need to worry about emotions and thrills - we announce with redoubled energy that the 38th TSF will be held and can enter your homes on November 23-29!
There is, however, one major ASPECT of this festival edition. Today, in this difficult and strange time for all of us, as NEVER before we need YOU and each other, therefore LET'S BE IN IT TOGETHER!
Computers, televisions, iPads, smartphones and the Internet will replace theatrical halls, but the idea of TSF remains the same. During the festival, we will see diploma plays of the Warsaw Theatre Academy and its Branch from Białystok, the Kraków Academy of Theatre Arts and its Branches from Wrocław and Bytom, and, of course, the Acting Department of the Łódź Film School!
Participation in the festival sums up four years of professional education and is a pass to the world of ACTING.
This time again, the most moving performances and electrifying roles will be filtered and awarded by jurors' sensibilities.
This year, the members of the JURY are: Iwona Bielska, Piotr Domalewski, Piotr Dzięcioł, Tomasz Konieczny and Mariola Wiśniewska.
Although ONLINE may sound like a bad spell today, we are sure that many roles presented by the students during the TSF will disenchant this ominous aura and free you from virtual loneliness and idleness lurking behind closed doors!
