On August 19, cinematographer Jacek Korcelli died in the Home of Artists, Veterans of Polish Stage in Skolimów. The last farewell will be held at the Military Powązki cemetery on 14 September at 12:00
Jacek Korcelli finished cinematography studies at the State Higher Film School in Łódź in 1956, receiving his MA degree in 1958.
In 1992 he received the academic title of professor of film art.
He was the cinematographer of over thirty films and series, including "Wielka, większa i największa", "Stawiam na Tolka Banana", "Koniec wakacji" and "Lalka".
He was for many years an important lecturer at the Cinematography Department of the Lodz Film School and a member of the Polish Film Academy.
Sincere condolences to the family and loved ones are expressed by: the Senate, the Rector, the Authorities of the Cinematography and Television Production Department, employees and students of the Lodz Film School.
