Nothing will stop our Film Club from functioning!

If you thought that the time of lockdown would prevent the Film School Cinema from functioning, you were obviously mistaken! We have just launched a virtual program and a new website which offer a new line-up every week, crazy sections, non-obvious retrospectives and presentations of films selected from countless internet resources in cooperation with the Camera Action Festival. What's more, all offers will be available free of charge! Just like before, expect the best repertoire dressed in a surprising graphic identification. Have you seen the new poster? So put on your helmet and goggles because in April and May it will be coming your way with inspiring films!

We’re starting already this week with the first screenings as part of the Retro Sci-Fi section. We look at the "giallo" current as part of the retrospective of Dario Argento - Italian master of horror cinema, and for dessert ... Hollywood classics with Mary Pickford! If that is not enough, you will find a portion of engaging extras - articles, visual essays, interviews, analyses on the cinema Facebook profile every day.

What should you do to watch films?
All you have to do is go to the kino.filmschool.lodz.pl site, where a direct link to the website will appear daily with free streaming of the film scheduled in the repertoire. Click “OGLĄDAJ” ("WATCH") and go straight to the place where the film screening awaits you! The repertoire is programmed based on free resources of various streaming services - both Polish and international. Selected titles available as part of AVOD services will be preceded by ads, so just a little bit of patience is required!
