The Lodz Film School Archive contains a unique collection of over five thousand films which have been made by the students since 1949. The collection includes, among others, the first films of the most outstanding authors, including Andrzej Wajda, Roman Polański, Jerzy Skolimowski, Krzysztof Zanussi and Krzysztof Kieślowski.
In the coming years, we plan to make the entire Archive collection available.

Due to their special historical value, we begin with documentary films.
Each film has full list of credits containing the names of the creators and technical data along with a summary and sequential description in Polish and English.

Our website is intended for all cinema lovers and professionals - filmmakers, film experts and film culture researchers.
We present over four hundred of the oldest student documentary films that have been digitized.
