The exhibition 20 years of the Lodz Film School Photography, which has been organized at the Art Promotion Centre, wins the plebiscite Culture Plasters 2013. "Ida" pronounced the film of the year.

The results of the Culture Plasters 2013 plebiscite organized by the portal plasterlodzki.pl  were announced on 12th February.
The winner of the year’s Off category is the exhibition  “20 years of the Lodz Film School Photography” opened at the Art Promotion Centre on 11 October 2013.
The exhibition consisting of 250 photographs of the Lodz Film School photography students and graduates presented various types of photography from a photo report, through press and advertising photography, up to conceptual and creative photography.  Aleksandra Hirszfeld was the exhibition curator,  Anna Kazimierczak and Anna Zarychta its co-curators.

The film "Ida" by Paweł Pawlikowski is the winner in the category „the film of the year”. The film’s directors of photography are  Łukasz Żal, Lodz Film School cinematography graduate, and prof. Ryszard Lenczewski, the school’s graduate and currently vice dean of Cinematography Dept. The film has been produced by Lodz Opus Film, run by Piotr Dzięcioł, a Lodz Film School production management graduate. The film “Ida” has been edited by Jarosław Kamiński, the head of editing faculty at the school.

The exhibition "Eugeniusz Haneman" at the Lodz Photography Association has been recognized the exhibition of the year.  Prof. Haneman, who died  on 15th January this year, had been a Lodz Film School photography lecturer for over 50 years.
