Our acting students diploma show, DON’T EAT IT! IT’S FOR CHRISTMAS! directed by Mariusz Grzegorzek has been included in the programme of the 12th DIVINE COMEDY International Drama Festival in Cracow
After the show’s premiere in Lodz at Studyjny Theatre and the presentation in Moscow, now the time has come for Cracow.

The question about the position and role of artists in today's world is the leitmotif of this year's 12th edition of the Divine Comedy.
"The artists' voice, though loud, does not seem to reach where it should. Why are so many people blinded by fake news growing to the rank of truth on which new orders are built? Why do so many remain silent about the language of hatred, exclusion and contempt? What happened that the ambitious project of modern man has been deformed? I think that the shows invited to the festival will provide the answers to these questions, thus confirming that in the world of major re-evaluations, the artist's role is special. He gives testimony to the times in which he lives, gives hope and relentlessly reminds of human possibilities that only for a short time crumbled under the pressure of demagogy and labels" – says Bartosz Szydłowski, festival artistic director.

“We have surpassed ourselves, the actors went all the way as the show does not allow room for excuses”
“Speaking honestly, openly, overcoming barriers, putting us in a sense of some discomfort, this is a CONVERSATION that is worth having. Come and talk to us like this! Leave the safety zone and touch the danger zone. And feel something very strongly! Even for a moment! Even if your mum, dad, grandmother, teacher and priest warn you tirelessly: DON’T EAT IT! IT’S FOR CHRISTMAS!”
